Picchione's text does, as the title suggests, function as a general introduction to all of the writings of Antonio Porta in that it includes biographical information, a summary of critical response, a bibliography, as well as a study of each of the author's publications. However, the critique is so dense and intertextual that the general scope of an introductory monograph is easily surpassed. [...] |
